According to Sims (2024), inclusivity and diversity in the workplace are among the crucial keys to driving success. He emphasized that genuine inclusion goes beyond representation—there must be a real commitment from organizations to foster a safe work environment for their employees.
The HR Asia Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award recognizes organizations that practice inclusivity, diversity, and fairness in the workplace. This award focuses on companies that provide equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background.
We are proud to announce that ISSI Corp has received the HR Asia DEI Award this 2026, making it the 2nd consecutive year to highlight its commitment to providing an inclusive environment for its associates.

“To promote DEI within our organization, we strive to ensure fair and equal treatment for all employees, from recruitment to career development and retention,” said Jessy Marciano, Head of Human Resources.
From the start of the hiring process, candidate selection is objective, based on experience and capabilities. “Our recruitment philosophy emphasizes hiring based on skills, qualifications, and potential regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics,” Jessy added.
Recruitment Associate Jeremiah Esponilla shared the same view: “At ISSI Corp, we believe that every candidate deserves a fair chance to be seen for what they can offer, not judged by where they come from or who they are. As recruiters, we focus on each applicant’s qualifications, skills, and potential while ensuring that they feel respected and valued throughout the process.”
The organization’s workforce is composed of 61.90% female and 38.10% male employees. In terms of age distribution, the largest group is aged 26–30 (28.32%), followed by 31–35 (21.61%), 36–40 (14.45%), over 45 (12.55%), 19–25 (11.97%), and 41–45 (11.09%).
This multigenerational workforce brings together varied knowledge, experiences, and perspectives that foster a culture of collaboration — where ideas are actively passed around to drive toward a common goal.
This commitment to inclusivity extends beyond hiring. Monthly activities give associates a platform for self-expression, where visibility and representation are prioritized. “We design employee engagement initiatives that celebrate diversity and encourage individuals to bring their authentic selves to work,” Jessy added.
The DEI Award at the HR Asia Awards 2026 reflects this culture. ISSI Corp sees diversity not as a hindrance but as a strength — one that brings together people of different backgrounds, skills, and perspectives to build a stronger organization.

ISSI Corp remains committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels accepted, valued, and empowered — offering equal opportunities to learn and grow not just during recruitment, but throughout every stage of their journey with the organization. The goal is a workplace rooted in respect, belonging, and compassion.
“Every individual has a different story, and sometimes, potential goes beyond what we see on paper. Recruitment is not just about finding the right person for the job, but also about creating a positive candidate experience,” - Jeremiah Esponilla, Recruitment Associate.
“Our team remains committed to fostering a culture of fairness, inclusivity, and belonging. We will continue to develop engagement initiatives that make every employee feel valued and respected,” - Jessy Marciano, Head of Human Resources.
