  • The categories of third parties to whom the data may be disclosed
  • How long the data will be stored (or the criteria used to determine that period)
  • Your other rights regarding our use of your data
  • You have the right to make us correct any inaccurate personal data about you.

You can do this by asking us to erase any personal data we hold about you, if it is no longer necessary for us to hold the data for purposes of your use of ISSI Corp This right doesn't always apply (for example, if we have a contract with you), but we'll tell you if this is the case when you ask us to erase your data.
  • You have the right to complain about our use of your data. Please tell us first, so we have a chance to address your concerns. If we fail in this, you can address any complaint to the National Privacy Commission.

How Secure Is the Data We Collect?

We have physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

And please remember:

  • You provide personal data at your own risk: unfortunately, no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure.
  • If you believe your privacy has been breached, please contact us immediately at dataprotection@issicorp.com

Where Do We Store the Data?

The personal data we collect is processed at our offices in the Philippines, and in any data processing facilities operated by the third parties identified below. Some of these facilities are outside of the Philippines.

If we transfer or store your information outside of the Philippines, we will take steps required by law to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Normally, this involves us informing and asking for your consent, conducting a data transfer risk assessment, and requiring our suppliers to enter into binding contractual commitments with us designed to protect your data.

How Long Do We Store Your Data?

If you’ve been an ISSI Corp customer, we’ll delete your personal data from our systems six years after you stop being an ISSI Corp customer. We keep the information in this time in case there are any legal claims relating to your time as a customer. We will delete information that you have in ISSI Corp itself by the arrangements set out in your contract with us.

If we contact you about the services of ISSI Corp or you book a consultation with us, we’ll delete your personal data from our systems three years after we last contacted you. This stops us from contacting you again too soon if you’re not interested in ISSI Corp right now.

Third Parties Who Process Your Data

Tech businesses often use third parties to help them host their application, communicate with customers, power their emails, etc. We partner with third parties who we believe are the best in their field at what they do.

When we do this, sometimes we must share your data with them to get these services to work well. Your data is shared only when strictly necessary below and according to the safeguards and good practices detailed in this Privacy Statement.

We use the following third-party service providers:

  • Amazon Web Services: Cloud computing services to host our application.
  • Salesforce: Customer relationship management (CRM) platform to manage customer interactions and data.
  • Google Analytics: Website analytics to track and report website traffic.

Where personal data is transferred to a third party in a country outside the Philippines that is not considered to offer an adequate level of protection for personal data, we conduct a transfer risk assessment and ensure that we have in place a binding contract with them containing the current version of the standard contractual clauses with them.

Any data transfers outside of the Philippines are encrypted and generally do not include special categories of personal data.
